S.R.C. has been able to keep its doors open despite the lack of rain. S.R.C. has not made any further changes to the XC circuit that was used in the Winter Series opener. This has made the Southridge 7-3/4 mile course into a human dynamo. Riders are not only racing against each other, but also trying to beat their previous time.

Finally, S.R.C. was able to host a day without the gale force Santa Ana winds. S.R.C. was able host its first ever DH Freestyle competition. The run began 3/4 of the way up 152.4 m Elevator Hill. The run was essentially a slab of granite rock. Freeriders had to navigate over huge boulders and down many drops up to 4.6m.

A fall prevented Daniel Umland (17 years old), a Worlds Team Junior, and Waylon Smith (Pro) from winning the regular downhill race. Daniel is riding for ODI Southridge. He’s on the gas. Keep an eye out for him. Daniel regained his composure and posted the 16th fastest time of day (
