Northstar-At Tahoe Bike Season Begin. Californias Ultimate Bike Park

Riders can enjoy the signature trails of LiveWire and Easy Rider, as well as the 2Six Jump park. The trail’s first downhill bike trail, LiveWire is equipped with an irrigation system. LiveWire is almost two miles in length and has a vertical drop over 1,30.5m. It also features more than 45 tabletop jumps and large berm turn. The trail’s surface is smooth, fast, and tacky which gives riders better traction and no dust. Northstar Resorts’ newest beginner trail, Easy Rider is almost 1.75 miles long, has a width of approximately four to six feet and a grade of about five percent. The trail starts at the mid-mountain near the top Gondola Express chairlift and ends at the Village at Northstar. There are three levels of the 2Six Jump Park. Riders can choose from small, medium, and large lines. This allows them to improve their skills over time. Three lines are available, with doubles, tabletops and large doubles. Riders can transition between them by combining the lines. The 2Six Jump Park can be found off Village Run near the Lower Mineshaft.
